Clavers Odhiambo

Clavers Odhiambo is a Kenyan fine artist specialising in realism since 2014. On relatively large canvases, he paints mostly human figures in oils, with his inspiration varying from different aspects of life from culture, emotions and politics. He is also known for his skills at photographic detail and rendering, and his newer work is heavily influenced by Baroque and Neo-classical art while focusing on telling varying narratives through painting. Clavers creates his personal paintings in series, with the artworks included on this website being part of his "Tinted Glasses" series (2023) and an yet-unnamed upcoming series (2024-25).  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of Nairobi and has mainly exhibited his work locally over the past decade. Some of his work can be found online, where he also gives YouTube painting tutorials.
